Over the last couple of days I started to sand and polish some of the covers for my XS650 Bobber project.  I started with 180 grit, 240, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000 followed with polishing with Tripoli Brown compound and then Rouge White compound to finish it off.  Altogether I would say I have about 6-8 hours into this polishing for the two covers for the chain side of the XS650 motor.  I have the Right side cover yet to do…
